Fall is in the air!!!

I hope this little blog update finds everyone happy & healthy :) I am loving the cooler temperatures we are having in Tennessee right now (even though my aches & pains don't really care for it hehe... ) Fall is my favorite time of year and it makes me so excited about the next few months of hayrides, pumpkin carving and Halloween! Getting to take my boys to pick out little Halloween costumes and the excitement on their little faces well it's just all wonderful to me :) Anyway, I wanted to share my most recent cake creations with you...

Thankful..

Isn't it amazing how God has a plan for each one of us and how he is always by our side.. Even during our toughest of trials he is still there.. And even then it is all still part of his wonderful plan for our lives... Wow! Anyway, This has been a wonderful day for me a nice steady rain and a quite house for a few hours left plenty of time to get the house all clean so I could enjoy the rest of the day doing all the things I "love" like this cute little puppy dog I made for an upcoming little girls birthday party.. I would have never imagined that I would be making cakes for peoples special occasions in thier life.. I know that must just be part of God's plan for me and I feel very blessed and thankful for that! I am also grateful for the people he has put in my life lately at just the right time who really keep me going more than they will ever know (Dayami)... So much to be thankful for and look forward too :).. I hope you enjoy the pics of my most recent creations... ~Big hugs~

Just a little update on the Scraproom project... So after much contemplation on the most affordable way to get the storage I need for all things crafty.. I decided my solution would be these white bookcases from Wal-Mart at only 24.88 each! Three of them side by side was a perfect snug fit for this closet :)

Valentine's Cupcakes & Personalized Candy Bags for Dylan's Valentine Party at School...

The Banner & Cupcake holders I made for Dylan's 6th Birthday Party and 6th Thomas the Train Party! LOL!

On one of our cold snowy Tennessee days I tried a new recipe! Pecan Pie Bars made from pillsbury crescent rolls... I also made some homemade chocolate chip cookies and let the kids decorate with their favorite toppings... Complete Yumminess!!

This is a Cherry Topiary I made for my friend Amy... Isn't it so pretty?!

Fruit Topiary I made for my kitchen... I used Green & Red Apple's with Lemons & just filled in around the fruit with Pretty Flowers..

Here are a few pictures of the cupcake holder's I made for Dylan's school Christmas party... The kids in his class really enjoyed these.. They used them as princess crowns and other cute things lol! Great imaginations those kiddie's have...
